Salad Olivye

I must say that this recipe was found by French cook in Russia in 1860. But the recipe of today's olivye differs from that old recipe. We originated this salad from russian people. Some can argue with me that this is russian national salad, I agree, but must tell that we prepare this salad so long time that it is actually become a part of our cuisine too. Every cuisine has it's own influences from other cuisines, some nations share the same recipes of the same dish, maybe called differently, so I decided to put recipe of this salad here, as you can see Olivye in every uzbek restaurant, and in every house:) My brother-in-law has it's own name for this salad, he calls it "olib ye" which means "take and eat":)in uzbek. He is so funny:)
Ingredients:
4 potatoes
3 carrots
2 pickled cucumbers
200 gr of boiled meat or boiled big sausages, you can take smoked sausages as well
One can (400 gr) green beans , you must pour out all the water
4 hard boiled eggs
Fresh chopped dill
100 gr of mayonnaise
Salt and paper as your taste
Bring water to boil, wash potatoes and carrots, boil until they are ready. Cut all the ingredients in small cubes, except beans of course:)Add in beans, dill, salt, pepper and mayonnaise and mix carefully.
Yoqimli ishtaha!!!
